Seersucker Live brings three incredible women together to share short stories, poetry, and plays about Matthew McConaughey! Featuring works by:

• Halle Hill (author of Good Women, and winner of 2020 Oxford American Debut Fiction Prize)

• Jazmine Faries (playwright and star of the documentary, "Iron Family," winner of the Audience Award at the 2022 Slamdance Film Festival.)

• Danélle Lejeune (poet, painter, photographer, and author of Landlocked: Etymology of Whale Fish and Grace)

 

Seersucker Live is a 501(c)(3) literary arts non-profit in Savannah, Georgia that for over a decade has promoted the local literary community through reading performances, featuring national, regional, and local writers. Our shows frame traditional literary readings in an entertaining and accessible format, with a special emphasis placed on presenting diverse writers to a diverse audience.

 

Most importantly, we aim to treat literature with respect without taking ourselves too seriously.
