Seersucker Live is getting GRAPHIC! (But not in a naughty way.) Part literary reading. Part talk show. Part cocktail party!

 

Seersucker Live brings literature and the visual arts together for an entertaining evening of readings, art, laughs, and music, featuring words and illustrations by:

 

• Andre Frattino (author of Toyko Rose, one of NPR's Books We Love in 2022)

• Brian Ralph (author and illustrator of Daybreak, A New York Times Graphic Novel Best Seller and YALSA Great Graphic Novel)

• Dennis Robinson (author and illustrator of Gwen Tells and the House of Shroom)

Seersucker Live is a 501(c)(3) literary arts non-profit in Savannah, Georgia that for over a decade has promoted the local literary community through reading performances, featuring national, regional, and local writers. Our shows frame traditional literary readings in an entertaining and accessible format, with a special emphasis placed on presenting diverse writers to a diverse audience.

 

Most importantly, we aim to treat literature with respect without taking ourselves too seriously.
