Service Description
*Improv for Grades 1-4* Time of Classes: Tuesday, 4:30pm - 5:30pm Six Sessions for 60 minutes each Total Cost for Six Sessions: $85 This class is a perfect way to introduce your 1-4 grade child to the world of improv and theater! Your child will learn basic foundational improv techniques through age appropriate exercises, games, and PLAY! Skills that we will learn include: listening to one another, agreeing with each other's ideas, creating stories, and creating characters. Our goal is that your child would be able to connect with others in the class and build confidence in front of the group in a safe environment. Students will share what they have learned with family members during the final class. Week 1: Learning to Build and Play Together! Week 2: Practice Listening and Reacting Week 3: Agreeing to Someone Else’s Ideas Week 4: Learning to be Supportive On and Off Stage Week 5: Fun with Characters Week 6: Friends & Family Invited to SHARE-formance - See what we have learned! Our classes are small (12 kids max). Scholarships are available for families that need support. Please email us at comedy@frontporchimprov.com to get more info. Our instructors have extensive experience in improv, theatre, and working with children and youth.
