Perc Up for Kids | Free | Saturday from 9am - 11:30am

Kids get to explore & play in our Improv Theatre! Play activities ideal for 'littles' ages 5 and under!   

We will provide games, toys and sing-a-longs while parents enjoy awesome, complimentary PERC Coffee at Front Porch Improv. Come for the entire time or just stop by to get the wiggles out. Led by instructor Joanna Walchuk.

About Instructor, Joanna Walchuk:

Originally from Colorado, Joanna spent over a decade teaching and performing in New York City before moving to Savannah with her family 7 years ago. While in Colorado, Joanna collaborated with Canyon Concert Ballet Company to create an annual Musical Theater Camp for ages 3-14. After moving to NYC, she had the pleasure of bringing this experience to BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange where she expanded her love of teaching to include Music & Movement for toddlers, babies and their grown ups. At BAX Joanna was also host and curator for the family performance series "The Jumpin' Juniper Show" for 6 seasons.  

Joanna continues to perform and teach a range of classes including Creative Movement, Creative Dramatics and Theatre.  

Joanna has worked with nationally recognized theatre companies including Openstage Theatre, Curious Theatre Company, & Front Porch Improv. Her experience in family performance includes working with The Shadow Box Theatre(NYC) and touring nationally with Theatreworks/USA.  She earned her B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado with studies in Acting, Musical Theater and Directing and currently leads the lower and middle school Drama program at Savannah Country Day School.
