Embark on a journey through imagination in this Space Work and Mime class! Dive into the unknown as we learn the art of collaborative world building through improvisational comedy. Explore weightlessness, family dinners, and James Bond style chase scenes through fast paced and fun scene-building exercises. Led by seasoned instructor Andy Coen from Dads Garage in Atlanta, this workshop offers a stellar opportunity to hone your comedic timing, physicality, and storytelling skills while harnessing the immense power of the human mind. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a curious beginner, join us for an otherworldly experience that's sure to launch your creativity to new heights! *Note* : This is a physical workshop. Saturday, June 15, 2024 | 1pm to 5pm Instructor: Andy Coen is an improv force with over 15 years of experience performing shows from the home base of Dad's Garage Theater in Atlanta. A world traveled comedian who acts, performs, writes, directs, edits, produces, and teaches people how to do those things. His favorite improvised shows are murder mysteries, longform narrative comedy, and short form shows for borderline intolerable audiences (because he loves a good challenge). Over his career he starred in and created content for brands like Adult Swim, TBS, Cartoon Network, CNN, Harry Potter, anr VH1.
