HERE'S WHAT OUR STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY:
“The instructors are experienced in teaching improv to all levels. They all perform regularly with Front Porch. Are you learning improv to get out of your comfort zone, become a public speaker, or become an improv performer? Doesn’t matter--this is the class for you! I have never had so much fun learning a new skill. Improv helped me as a teacher and a coach. Heck, I liked it so much I took another class and auditioned for Front Porch Improv!” - Heidi
"The community of Front Porch Improv is one thing--engaging, welcoming, unique, and a downright hilarious family... the teaching is another. I am constantly challenged and feel like their classroom is a safe place to fall flat on my face every day. It’s like a fluffy ball pit. What a great bunch to be associated with and learn from. Each of the instructors have something new and exciting to offer, and I am genuinely grateful to know each of them. " - Brianna
"As someone who has always wanted to do comedy and watched improv shows thinking ‘I could do that’, I finally took the plunge with the Improv 101 Class. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Well structured, supportive and, most importantly, a lot of fun. The class turned a bunch of us with varying experience and ability into a cohesive act in a very short time. The graduation show was one of the most nerve wracking things I have ever done. It was also one of the most fun and fulfilling. If anyone is thinking of doing it but is unsure, go for it! You will have a blast, make some wonderful new friends and probably exceed what you thought you were capable of." - Joe
"This improv class is just too great to pass up! When I took this class, I was a recent transplant to Savannah and it was difficult finding community. But I found that Front Porch improv brings the kind of people that you want to get to know. The class was the perfect way to make friends, have fun, and learn how to play again as an adult." - Garrett
"Our class had business professionals who wanted to get better at public speaking, actors who wanted to hone their craft and Yahoo's just looking to have fun (that's me). It was a supportive and fun experience that appealed to us all. I would guess 80% went on to take at least one if not two more classes." - Nathan
"Front porch classes are a fun and safe space to be yourself. You’ll meet a handful of people who love playing pretend and being silly. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as an improviser, whether its just a hobby or your career choice." - Laura
