Improv Auditions on January 6, 2025
We are excited to invite you to audition for our upcoming GENERAL AUDITION for our Main Stage, Supporting Players, and House Team.
A general audition is an opportunity for performers to showcase their skills and gain exposure to producers and decision-makers. Please note, there may not be immediate casting decisions made following your audition.
How to Sign Up
We encourage you to sign up for a slot that includes multiple improvisers. You can sign up for your time slot HERE. If you’re the only person signed up for a slot, yes, you will audition alone. We recommend adjusting your slot to join others if possible.
Audition Format
Part 1: Perform a two-person improv scene (90 seconds).
Part 2: Play a short-form game (4 Actors, 4 Scenes).
Part 3: Perform in a long-form montage.
What We’re Looking For
20% Fountain Energy: You bring your own enthusiasm and positive energy.
20% Harmony: You have excellent group attunement. You are enjoyable to work with and pitch in in the way the ensemble needs (on and off stage).
20% Improv Skills: You demonstrate skills like "Yes, And," character POV, editing, pattern work, and more.
20% Presence: You are regularly involved and actively engaged with FPI.
20% Life Experience & Representation: We value a wide variety of life experiences and perspectives that enrich our team.
